The health benefits of cacao include decreased inflammation, improved heart and brain health, blood sugar and weight control and healthy teeth and skin. It's nutritious and so easy to add to your diet. It’s a great substitute for coffee. Unlike coffee, which can cause heart palpitations and elevate blood pressure and stress, cocoa reduces stress and strain on the heart and is also a heavy antioxidant and contains flavonoids which they say help protect us from cardiovascular disease.

Our six day strip jumpstart program suggest to ease off coffee, sugar, gluten, dairy. This drink is totally customizable and you can make this delicious drink sugar free and replace the agave with your favorite sugar-free alternative.

Cacao is also remarkably rich in magnesium and seems to be the number one source of magnesium of any food. This may very well explain why women crave chocolate before or during their menstrual period. Magnesium balances brain chemistry, builds strong bones, and is associated with creating more happiness. Magnesium is the most deficient major mineral on the Standard American Diet (SAD) - over 80% of Americans are chronically deficient in magnesium.
