It is important to consider the amount of water you drink per hour.

If you consistently drink more water per hour than recommended, you might overwork your kidneys and deplete your electrolytes and minerals. Here are our guidelines to determine the amount of water per hour:

  1. up to 100 lbs, 4 oz water
  2. 100 – 150 lbs, 6 oz water
  3. 150 – 200 lbs, 8 oz water
  4. 200 – above lbs, 8-10 oz water
Consistently drinking small amounts of water to achieve your hourly amount is ideal. Most of this is logistically improbable, so use the above guidelines to the best of your ability.
