The Tobey Routine
The Hollywood Routine Series
The Tobey
Agile. Clean. Quietly powerful.
He needed to become a superhero — physically credible, agile, and lean — without looking like a bodybuilder. The goal was functional athleticism: a body that moves beautifully, recovers fast, and performs across every discipline. The One Body One Life® team built it through variety, clean fuel, and relentless consistency.
The Breakthrough Moment
"The training week read like a masterclass in functional fitness: Pilates, weights, boxing, basketball, martial arts, and yoga — all in seven days. The diet was clean, vegetarian, and precisely calibrated. The result was a physique that looked powerful on screen and moved like an athlete in every scene." — One Body One Life
The System
The 4 Elements of His Routine
01 — Mind & Spirit
The Tobey mindset is quiet and methodical. No ego. No shortcuts. Just showing up every single day and doing the work with full presence. The One Body One Life® methodology applied here perfectly: "The mindless mind." When you train across six disciplines in a single week, your body learns to drop into focus automatically. Variety keeps the mind engaged and the body guessing.
Your practice: Treat each discipline as its own meditation. Pilates is not cardio. Boxing is not strength work. Each session has its own intention — honor it fully.
02 — Power Food
A clean vegetarian diet — high in plant protein, essential fats, and complex carbohydrates — fueled one of the most physically demanding transformation programs the One Body One Life® team ever designed. The key: plant protein at every meal, healthy fats from nuts and oils, and zero processed food. Every calorie earned its place on the plate.
His calorie formula: Goal body weight (lbs) × 13–14 to support multi-discipline athletic training while maintaining a lean physique.
03 — Cleansing
A plant-based diet is naturally cleansing — but training six disciplines in a week generates significant metabolic waste that needs to be flushed daily. Hydration, lymphatic support, and strategic supplementation were non-negotiable. Yoga at the end of the week served double duty: flexibility maintenance and active recovery for the nervous system.
Daily non-negotiables: 1 gallon of water. Warm lemon water every morning. Yoga or stretching at least twice per week. No alcohol.
04 — Exercise
Six disciplines. Seven days. Each one targeting a different physical quality — strength, agility, coordination, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and power. The variety wasn't just for interest — it was strategic. Each discipline reinforces the others, creating a body that is genuinely athletic rather than just visually lean.
Weekly structure: Monday — Pilates. Tuesday — Weights. Wednesday — Boxing. Thursday — Basketball. Friday — Martial arts. Saturday — Yoga. Sunday — Rest.

Know Your Body First
The One Body One Life® methodology taught us that food is information. Before building your routine, know your baseline — your hormones, your gut health, your toxic load, your food sensitivities. That's where real transformation begins.
The 6 Repeat Offenders — the foods most likely causing your bloating, cravings, and false fat:
1. Wheat · 2. Dairy · 3. Eggs · 4. Corn · 5. Soy · 6. Peanuts
Start here: eliminate all six for 7 days. Reintroduce one at a time. Notice everything.
