Over these twenty years, I have not lost sight of what creates success: food, fitness, and flow. This powerful three must work together to achieve a successful, healthy lifestyle. I wake up everyday connected to my body, aware of my needs, and ready to achieve greatness. This is my holistic approach.
I love holistic living. By combining my mental clarity with clean eating, and a fitness lifestyle, I have HOLISTIFIED my life. You, too, can HOLISTIFY®. To holistify® is simple: you recognize that many different parts of life are connected, all working towards one fantastic goal. You understand that life is a process of creation based on self-awareness. Your journey to Holistify® is about feeling, breathing, listening, and exploring. It is about accepting, laughing, embracing, and healing. Our minds, bodies, and spirits are all working together to live our best life. Every choice we make is an act of self-definition. Holistic gets you in touch with who you are and what you are capable of.
My approach to nutrition led me to open my Hollywood, CA super-foods juice bar, Real Raw Live. I hope that our ideals are ones you will adopt as you Holistify®. Always strive for organic produce, natural, unprocessed ingredients, and add-ins that give you something extra. Sometimes you’ll bump up the anti-oxidants, sometimes you need immunity, other times a quick zap to your metabolism. Whatever it is, you can (and should!) find it naturally!
I’m dedicated to making my best body and living my best life. I have written books. I have trained celebrities. I am here for YOU. Let’s embark on a journey of wellness and mental clarity. We only get one body in this one life- let’s make it the best one ever!
Finally, you have to find your flow. For me, there’s nothing that a day on a surfboard can’t cure. I’m out there, one with the ocean. While I paddle away from shore, I connect with my breath, calming my mind, centering myself, checking in with my body. Once I get past the break, I wait. I connect with the earth, feeling her pull and push. I’m listening to the waves, anticipating the best time to stand up, when my body needs to lean to the right, feeling the moment I can relax my muscles and then re-engage them. I’m aware of the strength of the water and the strength of my body and how they play off of each other. By the end of each run, I’m energized, mentally stimulated, and enjoying the physical workout. By the end of the day, I have mental clarity that allows me to make the best decisions for where I want to go. I’m also grateful for the beauty and power of the world around me and appreciative for all it brings me. What is your flow?
